Long Time, No Post

Moving out west, finding a job and planning a wedding has left me little time for...well...thinking.  I'm still vintage shopping (who can stop?), especially for my wedding which, I realized this morning, is only. twenty. days. away.  Oh my gosh!  So much to do!
Axl and I are having a vintage-inspired wedding and have invited our guests to wear vintage or vintage-inspired items from the 1930's, 40's, or 50's.  I can't wait to post pictures and begin catching up my blog as well as post some of the items I've been hoarding for sale in my Etsy store.
I've met some wonderful people in Denver and I was excited to attend last Saturday's Tiki Exotica Ball in Boulder.  I have to say, Colorado, you do vintage right.  Back home, a lot of women have a tendency to put on all their vintage at once and it just ends up looking like...I always say Mama's Family.  Hopefully, y'all remember that show like I do (either that or I am dating myself).
Speaking of inappropriate vintage-wear, I think I was a little out of date having read the flyer wrong so I was a little more 1940's than 1950's for the ball but here you go just the same:
